When creating a contract, you are able to choose a “Contract Record Template”.  Choosing a contract record template allows the system to pre-fill more information and take care much of the configuration for you (see **Configuring a Contract Record).  **Each contract record template can only be attached to one contract type.  Additionally, main document templates are tied to different record templates.
