At any time during contract drafting and negotiation, departments can access the Contract Record to communicate any questions, concerns, or needs with the Procurement team during the process. This is also true of executed/effective contracts as well.

The tools within Contracts+ not only provide multiple communication channels, but also store all communications within that Contract Record so that they may be referenced at a later date.

Below are a few examples of ways that departments can communicate with Procurement regarding a particular contract:

You may receive an e-mail from the Procurement teams with attachments for your review. This may be a draft of the contract, a waiver memo, or similar document.

If you receive one of these messages, you can reply to the message and include updated documents or attachments that will go back to Procurement for review. Be sure that when you review an e-mail message and subsequently reply that the e-mail address reads as follows:

Click that contract to enter the contract record.
2. Click the summary tab in the Contract Record to identify the Contract Manager(s). This will be the person (or persons) within Procurement responsible for drafting and/or managing the contract.
