University faculty and staff can use the Asset Panda application on Apple devices to cycle controllable property.

1. In the **menu bar**, tap **Tools**.
2. Tap **Group Scan**.
3. Tap on the space next to "Group Scan."

4. Tap on the **Assets** checkbox.

5. "Assets" should appear next to "Group Scan." Check **Duplicate After Scan**.
6. Tap **Prompt Each Time**.
7. Tap on the **red checkmark**.

8. Tap **Scan Barcode**.

9. The barcode scanner will pop up. Scan your asset.

10. After scanning, the Bar Code Input screen will reappear. To add more records to the group for the same location, tap **Scan Barcode**. To move on to the next step, tap **Finish Group Scan**.

11. Tap on the **red circle with three white dots** at the bottom right of the screen.

12. Tap **Apply Group Actions**.

13. Tap **DEPT AUDIT**.

14. Fill out all required fields (marked with a *****). Then, tap **Save.**

15. After creating the Group Action, you can either:
  1. Tap **Scan new items** to start a new group scan.
  2. Minimize the app and swipe up to exit.

Shortly after completing a group scan, you will receive an email from Asset Panda indicating the equipment has been updated.

## What Happens When You Lose Wi-Fi? (IPad)

When Wi-Fi connection is lost, you will receive a loading screen. When the connection is re-established, your progress will resume exactly where you left off. No data will be lost.

<span style="color: #003366">If Wi-Fi signal is lost during the updating of an individual asset, you will get a spinning wheel when you press the red checkbox. </span>

<span style="color: #003366">Once the signal is re-established, the record will be updated but the asset must be re-scanned to be included in the group scan process. </span>

## What Happens When you Lose Wi-Fi? (IPhone w/Cellular)

<span style="color: #003366">When Wi-Fi connection is lost, you will receive a loading screen with an error message saying data connection has been lost. At this point, the app will continue to use cellular data (if enabled) until a Wi-Fi signal is re-established. Your progress will resume exactly where you left off. No data will be lost</span>
